Deep drawing is one of our absolute specialities,
our pride and joy, you might say.

Deep drawing method

We take a real pride in being able to offer our customers this possibility. We are keen to ensure that you will have your product manufactured in
the way that is best for you. So it is good to know that deep drawing is one of our absolute specialities.

But what does deep drawing involve exactly?
Let us say that you want to make a product that has deep, seamless and complex shapes. A tool is pressed down from above onto a mould that
is identical in shape to the desired product, with sheet metal in between. The metal is stretched and moulded and takes up the same shape as
the tool, one of the shapes you can see on the right of the pictures for example. The commonest examples of deep drawing are probably the
beer and soft drinks cans we buy. Or the kitchen sink we
have at home.

This method of manufacture is used when the depth is more than half the diameter of the component. The material must be ductile and at the
same time able to withstand the stresses without breaking in the deep drawing process.

This is an advanced manufacturing method that demands a great deal of experience and knowledge and a well-developed range of machinery.
Below you can see some of the advantages of the method and to the right some of the components that we manufacture using the
deep drawing method.
